Surrey Community Energy's first Share Offer is currently scheduled to be released in October 2026.​

We are finalising the legal agreements, and once launched, the share offer and accompanying documents will be visible on this webpage. You can keep up to date with developments by joining our mailing list.

About the Share Offer: 

Our first community-owned solar installation is at Birtley House Care Home in Bramley, Surrey, a family-run care provider that has served Surrey residents for nearly 100 years.

​

We have received planning permission from Waverley Borough Council, and the installation will be approximately 105kW, split between roof-mount on the mews residences and ground-mount to the rear of the orchard. ​

​​Full ecological surveys and biodiversity net gain surveys have been conducted by Surrey Wildlife Trust, and once legal documents are finalised, we hope to begin the installation in the autumn of 2026.
